Misty has been with Covenant Health since the age of 17, when she started as a volunteer. By advancing her education, she worked her way up to her current role as a Nurse Practitioner in geriatrics. Misty completed her master's in nursing with specialization in aging in 2009 and subsequently started working as a Nurse Practitioner with family medicine at the Grey Nuns Hospital before transferring to the Geriatric Health Services team in 2012. She has a Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) certification in gerontology.
