Kim Crowe has been the social worker on the Tertiary Palliative Care unit at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital since 2010. She graduated with a bachelor of social work from the University of Calgary. Following the completion of her degree, she gained experience working in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside with children and families affected by addiction, poverty and homelessness. Kim has also worked within schools, helping children and their families cope with behavioral and mental health concerns. Her interest in assisting individuals and families with difficult life situations has brought her to palliative care.
