Dr. Sayra Khandekar was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She got her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, her medical degree from Tulane University, trained at the University of Tennessee, and completed her Cardiology and Echocardiography training at the University of Alberta. She is a staff cardiologist at the Misericordia Hospital and Director of the Echocardiography Lab; she is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Alberta.
