Dr. Marjan Abbasi is a primary care physician with extra training in the care of the elderly. She obtained her medical degree from Tehran University in Iran, and she completed the Family Medicine Residency Program and received the Care of Elderly Diploma at the University of Alberta in 2006. Dr. Abbasi is the site lead for the Geriatric program at the Misericordia Community Hospital. She is also a clinical associate professor in the Division of Care of the Elderly in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta, with over 15 years of clinical and teaching experience.
