Cheryl has a doctoral degree in counselling psychology and has worked as a counselling psychologist on the Tertiary Palliative Care unit at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital for more than a decade. She is also a professor in the Division of Palliative Care Medicine at the University of Alberta. Throughout her career, Cheryl has supported patients and their families through challenging illness and end-of-life transitions, creating a space for people to express themselves emotionally and to find ways to maintain hope in uncertain times.
